Nick is a commercial lawyer with an emphasis on construction disputes and collection actions for those who extend credit to contractors and developers. He manages the Firm’s commercial collections practice, through which we collect millions of dollars a year that is owed to the construction industry and other business clients.

John M. Heffernan
John has more than 22 years of experience as a trial lawyer representing clients, both large and small, in commercial disputes. As a former public accountant, he understands the challenges facing a business from conducting internal investigations, through litigation and upon appeal. John has participated in numerous bench and jury trials and countless arbitration and mediation proceedings. He is a member of the Ohio and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations and is a former adjunct professor of trial tactics at the Case Western Reserve University School of Law..
